Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup self-rising flour 4 pts
  • 1-2 dashes salt
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder plus a dash or two
  • 1/4 cup plain fat free Greek yogurt
  • 1 Tbsp I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter Light melted (1 pt)
  • 1 tsp minced garlic optional
  • 1/4 tsp parsley optional
  • 1 tsp parmesan cheese grated

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F or 220°C and line small baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the self-rising flour, dashes of salt and garlic powder, and the Greek yogurt. Mix until a dough forms. Knead the dough until smooth. Add flour, a 1/2 teaspoon at a time, if too sticky. Cover and let rest for 10 minutes.
  3. Divide the dough into 2 equal portions. Roll each into a rope then tie it into a knot.
  4. In small bowl, blend melted butter with ¼ teaspoon garlic powder, minced garlic, and parsley.
  5. Place knots on prepared baking sheet and brush with garlic butter. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until lightly browned and cooked through.
  6. Brush knots again with remaining garlic butter then sprinkle with the parmesan and parsley.
